I think of art as a tangible emotion. It’s something I have to do regardless of the final product. It’s honest and personal and takes courage. — Larry Decker
I began with pen & Ink Illustrations for books and magazines in the ’70s and moved on to acrylics on canvas mostly selling in a Cape Cod gallery. I have sold my color drawings at Barnwood in Upstate NY. I also became a photographer for a Hudson Valley publication for over six years. I work in several mediums. I am presently selling at a gallery in Provincetown, MA.
I began drawing on stones in 1969 with my signature tree. I often do them to direct myself into an “Art Head” and prepare for a larger project.
